Amputee Essentials Calibrate Silicone Sheets are formulated with hypo-allergenic medical grade silicone that moisturizes and conditions your skin. This versatile product can cushion and protect against abrasion and pressure within your prosthetic socket. They're typically employed by amputees who are trying to find relief from specific chafing trouble spots within their prosthetic socket. If you experience friction and/or pressure when highly active or during the hot summer months, you should really consider these silicone sheets. These sheets are super stretchy, highly conformable and trimmable for a customized comfortable fit. You can use these sheets anywhere on your body and are also recommended for use in athletic shoes and sport boots.

Medical grade silicone
Wash and dry your residual limb. Trim your Silicone Sheets to a desired shape if necessary and peel off backing. Place your sheet against your skin or prosthetic socket inner wall. Amputee Essentials suggests removing Silicone Sheets for at least 3 to 4 hours daily to allow your skin to breathe.
Amputee Essentials recommends that you hand wash Silicone Sheets with mild and rinse thoroughly. Pat off excess water and lay flat to completely air dry. Lightly dust silicone with powder to reduce tackiness.
Do not wear your Silicone Sheets for more than 20 hours daily. Do not place your sheets on open wounds, abraded or broken skin. Discontinue use immediately if these sheets causes discomfort, poor circulation, and/or change in skin color or texture. Contact your doctor or healthcare provider promptly. Keep product out of the reach of children.
